SongEasel: Schubertiade
On the eve of Franz Schubert’s birthday, SongEasel reimagines a Schubert salon concert in the Hearn Recital Room, featuring some of his best-loved works.
Audiences will be transported through a thoughtfully assembled programme of favourites such as An die Musik, Die Forelle, Erlkönig, and the serene Ave Maria, alongside settings of Goethe, Müller, Mayrhofer and Rellstab. The programme showcases the extraordinary versatility of Schubert’s vocal writing with songs from across his life and output.
